Contrary to popular belief, I highly doubt that this song was directed at any one person in particular. (Popular theories range from Jesus to Galileo to Ramana to even Adolf Hitler.) This song to me seems to say how those who act and think independently are often seen by those with a herd mentality to be "fools", even though the former are often very wise indeed.
