Trauma, epigenetics and healing Empty Trauma, epigenetics and healing

These two articles were posted by Alethia on our Facebook page.

The first is an abstract showing the changes in holocaust survivors and their desendents: http://www.biologicalpsychiatryjournal.com/article/S0006-3223%2815%2900652-6/abstract

The other is a good overview of trauma, healing and the potential effects both can have on future generations not just behaviorally, but also on the genome. It is an interesting mix of science and spirituality, but the spiritualism parts are clear and minimal. http://upliftconnect.com/intergenerational-trauma/

Epigenetics makes the case for a mind-body connection even more clear for those who deny it.
