The HSP Dimension is 4 years old today!

Happy birthday HSP Dimension!! I am very much a newbie to HSP Dimension but I love it here already!

Newbie, me too, so glad to be here and creating new history.

Four years!!!!!!! Wow! We really are the shiz (as my daughter would say).

Congratulations and happy 4th anniversary to everyone here!

It's also the 5th anniversary of me discovering the HSP forums.

It's just a jump to the left . . .

The name of the forum that preceded The HSP Dimension was temporarily called "The Nothing Forum." I named it after an obscure Velvet Underground bootleg being a VU maniac lol! After Melodiccolor told me about the idea for this forum, I kinda rushed this thing along before Melodiccolor and Justin Passing (the 2 original brainchildren of Dimension) were ready, so we decided to use this thing I created as a springboard to talk about what we wanted in a host. We weren't even sure that we would be using this host for our final forum, but at the time it seemed one of the best free forums out there, so that was a big plus.

So, even though the forum is, in strictly technical terms, in my name, Justin Passing and Melodiccolor are its true parents.

And the founding members constructed Dimension during the late Spring-early summer of 2008, mostly in this forum:

And yes, I am indeed fully aware of the irony of naming Dimension's seminal forum after a bootleg done by one of the most notoriously abrasive rock bands of all time (two of their best-known songs highlight the "glories" of the abuse of heroin and speed,) but most of us here at Dimension could be considered rebels in one way or another
