My schedule is changable at this point so the best I can do is tentatively schedule the chats. I'll either confirm or change things as soon as I know, but it may not be until that week.

For first time users, just click on the log in and a text line will appear at the bottom of the box. Type in that line and either enter or click send and your words are in the chat.

The "A_" button allows you to change the color of your text; we like to get colorful during the chats.

If you can't make it at the beginning, check in anyway; our last chat went for over 8 hours; pretty typical actually.

Also, impromptu chats can happen at any time.

I just had a great chat with Melodi. It really helped lift both of our spirits! It went on for about 3 hours.

We did have a nice time. Perfect way to spend a cold foggy night. And just to finish it off, the sun came out today for the first time in 11 days. The symbolism does not elude me.

For those of us in the western hemisphere, these unscheduled chats tend to start somewhere between 8 and 10 pm gmt-8. So pop it to see if anyone wants to chat if you're feeling lonely or just want to talk. Chances are someone will be around. Sometimes these unscheduled chats end up with 6 or more people and can go 3 to 6 hours. You just never know.

Okay, I have a better idea of my schedule. Please note, I did have to change the date of the 2nd chat by one week to Jan 17th.

Oh goody. Well I actually am supposed to go to a holiday event but I may be able to come by either at the beginning or near the end, if it goes for a long time. Hope I can rest up and not be so freakin tired this time.

I'm exhausted from all the snow. So either a) I will just stay home and not go out as I don't know if I can deal with more trudging around and will participate or b) I will go and won't be around for the chat. Either way I know you'll all have a wonky festive time!

I think it is a great idea, for those of us avoiding loud parties.

Usual time okay with anyone attending? 5pm gmt-8 (pacific standard time) or 8pm gmt-5 (eastern standard time) or whatever time it is adain time (gmt+7?). The chats usually go for 6 to 9 hours, so european members should check in at breakfast to see if we're still there.

Actually, it was a particular bunneh of one of our members who has a thing for her cats, lol. True wonkiness of the strangest kind.... Along that vien, we also imagined the offspring of bunneh's and tribbles which I think it was WD named tribnehs. The cutest invaders to ever overrun a place...

We also had a rather deep discussion on spirituality and related matters earlier on.

I was wondering what happened to you Nucky; you just kind of timed out there. I'm glad you're not hung over. Ah the advantages of a young motablolism....I could once drink like that too. As you weren't driving and it was new year's eve, it was appropriate to have some fun.

SimplyNan, Melodi, BlueEyes, and yours truly had an impromptu chat for a few hours last night! They can happen any time.

They can indeed. I schedule them though so people can plan their schedules if they do want to join in and they know when to be here.

I've noticed a lot more spontaneous ones lately though. You just never know....

Oh, cool, I've got some good news to share.

Well, that was a record quiet chat; we never had more than 4 people at any given time and it was a bit of a slow start. But everyone had a nice visit and there was wonderful news announced; by both SimplyNan and Iowa Runner. For those who missed the chat, you're just going to have to wait until they post it.

As usual, the chat went about 7 hours and we all got kicked off at the same point we always do when the server goes down for maintainance; far too early for us west coasters. Fortunately it only lasts about a minute and then we all return.

I don't know when the next scheduled chat will be as the next month or so will be unpredictable for me. I'll figure it out just as soon as my schedule settles back down. In the meantime, anyone else can schedule one or just start an impromptu one.

It was a slow evening but I enjoyed chatting, I was glad to see some people still online when I made my apperance at about midnight!

I couldn't get into this one very much for some reason. Not so much because there weren't a lot of people, more because my insecurities kind of got the better of me during some parts of the chat. It's nothing anyone did though, it was all me.

Hmm - I meant to show up for the chat - but then forgot all about it. Still, INFP and I went out for Thai food on a whim yesterday, and didn't get back until late, so that's probably for the best.
