An observation: If you don't own your own stuff, it will end up owning you.

This is framed in the post like it's often said in person and the implied context is a negative one. But the same can be said when the context is positive, but I'll set that aside for now.

Negativity(own stuff), in general, leaves you and will be reflected back onto you through interaction with people and events, like a mirror.
