HSP and Friendships Empty HSP and Friendships

From Denmark Guy's blog: HSP Topics: The Challenge of Friendships (link)

So many issues mentioned in this article never even occurred to me such as comparing how many friends I had and what kind with other people; yet this seems to be an ongoing issue for many people.

HSP and Friendships Empty Re: HSP and Friendships

Personally the issues I related the most to in his text were setting boundaries, and not oversetting boundaries, not setting them too soft, and not too strong either, not giving up too fast and not making a problem bigger than it has to be. The boundaries I set now are pretty simple, when I want to go and am feeling like the group or the other person is slow, I just leave, I do what I need to do, and I take my time to pull away when I need to. It's especially important when studying with others, allowing yourself to zone out and not trying to be hyperfocused when you have longer interactions with someone.
