All time greatest/ must-see movies

In response to the "Inconceivable!" thread about the guy with the Princess Bride quote t-shirt...here is a spot to list your all time top ten (or more) must see movies. I'm not going to try to put mine in order of favouriteness ( ...yes I can make up my own words!)

The Princess Bride. ...if you haven't seen it, what is wrong with you? Go, watch, now!
Wings of Desire...artsy subtitled German movie, but it has a dreamlike quality, and the most amazing cinematography...maybe #1.
Alien
What Dreams May Come life after death, the meaning of life, the meaning of love...a deep, sometimes dark, but amazing movie.
So I Married An Axe Murderer Mike Myers at his very best, before Austin Powers. A quirky love story with beat poets...gotta love it!
I Heart Huckabees Existential detectives. Need I say more? Comedy. Dustin Hoffman, Lily Tomlin
They Live Rowdy Roddy Piper. Shades of "1984", fighting aliens, but pretty funny too.
Cry Freedom Heart wrenching story of Steven Biko, S. African anti-apartheid activist, and a white journalist that exposed his murder
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Seven Years In Tibet because I love the book (highly recommend!), and because it was a brave try by Brad Pitt, and David Thewliss!
Silverado Epic Western. Reminds me of the Princess Bride for some reason...Kevin Kline is amazing.
A Fish Called Wanda
Waking Ned Devine
Joe vs the Volcano the original Tom Hanks-Meg Ryan movie...quirky and funny...kinda fantasy.
Groundhog Day
Shaun of the Dead best zombie movie ever. Comedy.

I am a fan of quirky little indie movies, great romances, and yes, B movies...so I am going to add a couple of the quirky ones, and some that are not well known...and if it's a B movie, I may warn you...lol

Waitress (frmthhrt if you like quirky B movies you have got to watch this one)
10 things I Hate About You (Heath at his cutest)
Hello Dolly! (come on Barbara Streisand and Michael Crawford in the same movie!)
Angel and the Badman (only John Wayne I like)
Night of the Hunter (Robert Mitchum uber creepy, poor Shelly Winters)
The One (my Jet Li pick although I do like a lot of his other movies)

And it's no secret I like me the Asian cinema:
Koizora (Japanese movie, subtitles, boxes of tissues)
Addicted (Korean-subtitles-Lee Byung Hun and all I can say is WOW)

I also like Jet Li's Fearless

Back To The Future Trilogy - probably my all-time fav, even with the gaping hole in Part II (Upon returning to 2015 after stealing the time machine, Biff would have ended up in the alternate 2015, not back in the same timeline Doc and Marty were in)

Vanishing Point (1971) - Avoid the awful 1997 remake at all costs. It misses the point of the original completely.

Totoro is a bit more cutesy, but it is still great.
