Clay Shirky and what SOPA/PIPA are about

This is a TED talk and Clay covers the history from the analog era to the present digital era and us, content users/creators versus media controllers. It's a eye-opening talk:

Already seen it. And yes, very enlightening if you don't really know what it's about.
Scary thing is, that this is just one of the steps to get to where they want to go.

As i said on another forum... dictators aren't just on a throne in certain countries. They also reside behind desks.

Not only should SOPA, PIPA and all future legistlation be fought on this, but all enacted after that first one distinguishing legal and illegal copying should be dismantled too.

Yes, this should be fought on every level and I fully supported all the online protests; they got the word out very well.

Shall i let a little secret out... they already can do all this. They just want to make it legal, so they can do it more often.
