I knew about the peppermint, ginger and cayenne, but not the others, so this is really helpful. And, just as a note, the cayenne really doesn't work for me, just aggravates me more. But, that's why 7 are listed, if one doesn't work maybe another will. Thanks!

Glad you may find it of use. This article only lists 7 herbs but if anyone needs more ideas, I do have an excellent reference book. If anyone else knows of other ones that work well, list them here too.

Try rubbing some menthol-based oil on the tummy. You can get small bottle
of them at chinatown. They are called "wind-oil". Or you may like to get chinese herbal pills called "po chai pills"or "fong-sa-yin".
Drinking hot tea work for me sometime.
Alternatively try some light aerobic exercise, like walking.
