Great Barrier Reef....

With all the damage being done to the earth, it is good to know there are areas like this that still thrive, just as areas off the coast of CA do.

Australia's Great Barrier Reef could lose 95 percent of its living coral by 2050 should ocean temperatures increase by the 1.5 degrees Celsius projected by climate scientists.

I do realise that the future is bleak for most ecosystems as the climate warms. There already has been warming here, with the result of ecosystems, floura and fawna moving north.

But for now they are still there, just not quite in the same places they were.
