some guy tole me last week that the new ford cowboy cadillacs are limited to 80 mph...i think they ought to limit every dam vehicle on the road to 45, and that'd make more sense than a bunch of this other bs....if they're gonna save us, save us all....in fact, limit income to 100k per year down to 20k per year, no high heel shoes, no saws with sharp teeth, no lawnmowers (only scythes allowed), no chainsaws...only hand saws with dull teeth...now we're gettin' safe, bg! and no congressional sessions longer than 2 days...make 'em stay home and not vote at all for 363 days (364 in leapers). no sex allowed except after you pay a $1000 tax to the government; if you hit the jackpot, and get pregnant, both parties have to pay $100,000 to the 'school fund'. now we're talkin turkey, pilgrims! this ilike Smile

It looks like a cat just jumped on the key board, sucking up for attention.
Acually, wouldn't bringing down the speed limit help reduce petrol use? I seemed to remember they did that in NZ, some time in the 70's, or after WW2 (I don't know when exactly, LOL), to conserve petrol.
Donno about the rest of it though, blunt saw tooth saws might reduce deforestation?

in this state, they don't inforce speed limits except on a very selective basis. in fact, our county sheriff's deputies are not authorized to give speeding tickets except by calling a supervisor to the site.....

blunt, short peckers would reduce deforestation....it's not the animals deforesting, it's us...lol!

i saw part of a movie awhile back called 'land of insanity' or something of that nature...i think it was autobiographical about the world....
