The new poll for our Forum name

I liked the original Bubble Bath title... & can't seem to decide for just one of those above...

'Happy Silly Place: The HSP Dimension' would maybe be my favourite combination of all those listed above...
But I'm not sure if the forums will be just about happy & silly things, so maybe a more general title would be better...? (& just 'The HSP Dimension' seems 'too little', like it needs something to go along with it...)

Anyway, is this supposed to be 100% permanent name or can it be changed later if a better idea is come across...?

I have a few more too... this is not meant to be a final vote, but a general where are we now vote.

I wanted to add "Tea with the Mad Hatter" and my guess is that others will want to toss in a few more choices. But, after this vote, we can eliminate a few choices that didn't get much support first.

I think, we'll open things up for a few more options, do another vote and finally decide on a name if people are agreed. It's about time to do so.

And of course, YAY for the mandatory name change every 3 months!!! (unless the members vote & decide to keep the one for the next 3 months, or the next full moon at least? )

Melodic - the link would always be the same, just the forum title would change... That could make us thoroughly unique in the HSP community anyway!!

They could have us under any name they (or we) prefer!! But the actual title on the forum could change - maybe other aspects of the forum would stay the same (kinda like my avatar & my names..) - or maybe not!
It could be kinda fun!!

Like, all we can promise is change, & surprise... I think there are too many 'boring' /static/ forums out there anyway... (no known forums mentioned, I came across several quite unrelated ones the other day...) And as we're not aiming to attract huge masses... (?) Quality over quantity.. no? People must be intelligent enough to remember us even despite a new 'dress', no?
I'm thinking that for some forums people would have to earn the 'privilege' of seeing them... (by posting quality posts or doing fun creative stuff etc, we could even have 'exercises' how to earn bonus points...?)
/Anyway, even the Google has a new 'dress'/different letters every holiday.../

Or, if we totally confuse or bedazzle everyone, we can change that to a more static forum... (?)

I'm not quite sure I'd want to go this far. It begins to sound a little too much like school or a clique. Obviously some people will develop closer friendships, and can take discussions to another level, via e-mails, phone, personal contact, etc... But I'd much prefer to leave everything open to all on this forum. And people can be free to interact as they will. I think the two levels we have, public and private, are adequate.

hell, lil Sis, we ARE a clique. most of us are survivors of multiple boards.....and we gravitate here, and don't seem to fight a lot...this, alone, is rare on internet boards...if you think this is not the case, piddle around some other boards...there is frequently harsh language, and more frequently insults....i don't hang out those places long...a few bites, and i'm gone....i may not return, either, as i enjoy working on projects, or reading a lot more than being insulted or argued with....now a good debate? yum! as long as it remains 'professional and not personal'....

Call it paranoia, but I like to keep things quirky, fun & entertaining... & somewhat mysterious lol

Certain things may be for 'everyone' & certain things may better be discussed in a smaller group... Not for wishing to exclude anyone who's already at the forum (request to join & you're likely to be included), but to guard against any possible future not-so-friendly bots or trolls...

Also, some people may simply not be interested in discussing eg habits & circadian rythms of Iranian nightingales or whatever... (Those would be specific discussion groups, according to interest... & people could request to join anytime, or at the beginning of the discussion group...)
