Here's a good article on how being HSP affects the experience of being also ADHD and some ideas on managing it all: http://www.adhdlalaland.com/2014/08/being-highly-sensitive-person-adhd-HSP.html It's yet another insightful article by Denmarkguy.

Because of it, I had a realization; HSP causes us to experience the symptoms of any disability or illness more intensely, requiring more internal resources and energy to manage them. This is because we just experience all input more intensely.
