To a big part of my life for thirty years. It seems like only yesterday that a young twenty something and her brand new husband watched the maiden launch with such excitement.

An aside; the author I have mentioned, Tom Campbell, lost his NASA consultant position about a year or so ago. His position was, IIRC, was related to the next generation shuttle, that was once under consideration.
