Steven Spielberg recently gave the green light for a remake of Back To The Future to be filmed later this year and released in theaters by early 2012. Justin Bieber will be playing the role of Marty McFly. Instead of a DeLorean, a Toyota Prius will be used as the time-teleporting vehicle. Moreover, the Prius will not need to reach a manical 88 mph in order to travel through time, just a positively practical 44 mph.

Spielberg has declared that he is so confident that this version is superior to the old version that it will officially replace the old one. Once the new version is released, the old version will no longer be in print in any format. A new trilogy will follow in a similar vein.
