Question
Can anyone explain what "positive objective" means? Thanks

Re: Question
This is a guess.
It looks like the word "objective" in this context might be synonymous with "goal". Then, a positive objective would be a goal, when met, that achieves a positive or good outcome or results.

Re: Question
Thanks Blue Topaz. That makes sense. Adain, the term is used on some medical paperwork that I'm filling out for some health issues. One of the points is to identify any positive objective signs.

Re: Question
Reading your context I think that it might mean something other than what I described.
A positive objective sign in relation to a medical condition probably means a "sign" noted by an objective observer (or an observer attempting to be objective-- as apposed to subjective) that is in some respect "positive".
Perhaps Adain can correct me on this.

In other words, could this mean noting signs of improvement or noting signs of difficulties?

Re: Question
If this is for medical help, instead of trying to figure it out on your own, call the facility and ask what the form means by it, ask for clarification. I'm sure they'd be glad to help. Let us know what you find out please.
