Wonderful Terrible Tattoos (take 2)

Since this whole thread got blown away I guess I should resurrect it. There are so many interesting, strange, funny, terrible, impressive tattoos out there that I thought it would be fun to share a few. I'm not a fan of tattoos myself, but I can't help wondering what possesses people to get themselves permanently inked with some of these. It just goes to show that it truly takes all kinds to make a world.

So once again, here's a man who knows what he wants for breakfast. (lol)

I should warn people - tattoos can and often do involve nudity. Sometimes the artwork includes nudity, sometimes the placement on the person is rather "private", and often both are true. For the more "pornographic" tattoos I'll link them rather than display them, and post a warning so anyone who doesn't want to see them doesn't have to. If I misjudge and post something you find offensive, please let me know and I'll link it instead.

Nude art is not pornographic, but it is best if people let us know if you are uncomfortable with it.

I saw an example of what Justin is talking about and it was just stunning.

Ok, this one's something we all see nearly every day, so it shouldn't be too offensive I hope. It never fails to crack me up.

What possesses people to get tattoos like this? It nearly insists that you shout out "OMG" in your very best valley girl accent.

Some mistakes just can't be fixed. I hate it when that happens.

So, my husband used to be a tattoo artist. He'd like to be one again someday. Anyway, I don't have a picture to share. This clip is something he absolutely LOVES because it's, frighteningly enough, so very true. Might explain some of the stranger ones out there anyway.

Holy cow, INFP! I wouldn't have imagined! Wonder if it's one of the guys from the show, or a fan?

No one seems to know if the tattoo or the video came first. It's actually a fairly cool looking tattoo, but the video is hilarious.

There's a woman who got a similar tattoo on her chest above her breasts, but her's wasn't anywhere near as well done as this one is. Very strange.

This tattoo is pretty impressive, but it includes nudity so I'm linking it. Apparently it's called "prison tattoo" because the guy was going to prison, not because he got the tattoo in prison.

I'd like to apologize for the porno links around the picture, but ImageBam was the only image host I could find that didn't have a policy prohibiting all nude or objectionable pictures. Photobucket deleted this picture when I tried saving it there. It's a strange world we live in. I flag the picture NSFW (not safe for work) and it gets surrounded by porno links.

OK - I can't resist posting "Mr Cool Ice" again. This guy is simply begging for the FAIL stamp.

If you're curious, check out his MySpace page. Or just google Mr Cool Ice. He's made it into nearly everyone's worst tattoo lists. They're not badly done, but the burning question is - WHY?

Not sure if these are tattoos or paint jobs, but they sure are wild and crazy.

What I want to know is, how does this guy get a job?

I know - I posted this guy before. But he was obliterated by the database crash, and I think he should return to this thread. Definitely strange and kind of creepy.

My guess is this person's into video games.

It's nicely done, but what I can't figure out is what's up with the woman's corset? It looks like part of a barrel or wooden washtub with some bizarre mechanical clock tied to it. It obviously means something to somebody, but all I can come up with is "veeblefetzer".

(PS - the "tattoo-expo.ru" thing is just a watermark on the picture, which came from the 2008 Moscow Expo.)

That would make sense too because it provides the transition from heaven to hell. I think it's a commentary on religious fanaticism and war.

OK - that makes sense. The corset is a bomb, and the veeblefetzer is the timer. So that makes this is a rendition of the apocalypse instead of simply a statement about the war between good and evil.

I would guess that alien abductions are one of this person's special interests
