I've seen the article and listened to this before. I didn't agree about their music choices; I found that for me, this piece actually increased tension, not relaxed me.

I know I'm wired differently but....

How interesting! I can't say how much of the effect was through watching the video. I wouldn't say it erased all my worries and melted me in my chair. It was quite hypnotic, though. One of the other suggested videos on the side panel on youtube was a 1-2 hour long 'relaxing' celtic medley so clicked on that next. That was relaxing.

There is so much good relaxing music out there; I'd say about 60% of my very extensive music collection qualifies. The rest is very lively and upbeat. My collection covers uncounted numbers of genres too.

I'm the same A lot of things tickle my ear as well. I love all types of music pretty much. The more unusual the better. I'm lucky to have wide range of different friends, of various ages so I hear about stuff from them.

This seems to be a fairly common thing for HSP.
