This is from my How To Geek forum; I find their information to be pretty reliable. Many of us are interested in freeware, but have been wary in recent years on the dangers of accessing sites that offer it.

Good to know! It's annoying trying to find online file-converters that don't have a 200mb limit or that you have to download. Dvd burning software is another one. I gave up on downloading a while ago cos the spam & adware was too much. Thanks for posting!
