What influences Facebook feed Empty What influences Facebook feed

Why your feed on Facebook is the way it is: http://motherboard.vice.com/read/this-guy-has-been-liking-facebook-statuses-for-three-years?utm_source=howtogeek&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=newsletter  What I find curious is that anyone liking what you post will bring what is filtered in their feed into yours, changing what you see.  So your feed is as dependent on what the people viewing yours is as on what you view.  Very odd for it means it's less likely that feed that is most relevant to you personally will show, and the preferences of others get higher priority on the theory that anyone liking your stuff shares all of your preferences when in actuality no two share everything. It makes your experiences with the feed less useful. The idea is flawed or misweighted. Greater weight should be given to personal patterns.
