Although the focus on this article is how it was "broken", it does contain great information on how the internet works. You also find out that the entire internet can't be brought down, but it certainly can be noticably impacted with parts of it becoming inaccessible.

Yes, interesting article. I suspect if all of the activist hackers really did get together they could bring down most of the net. They learn faster than the providers do...lol.
