I bought a costume on ebay from the set of Enterprise--- a Captain Archer costume. (not one actually worn by Bakula, one worn by some nameless extra). And my husband fits into it perfectly.

So I will be escorted through the convention by

Mel, I told this story to Reamsie.

After I got the costume I told my daughter that I was taking my hubs with me to my hair dresser with a picture of Captain Archer so he could get the same haircut.
She looks at me with a fish-eye and said: how'd you manage that?
At that point I started feeling sort of guilty for some reason and just laughed nervously and shrugged. She shook her head a little and said: you got skills.
Nooo, not that I have skills you're right Mel, he is a trekkie too.

I can't wait until he gets the haircut because I will be taking rolls of pictures

Oh, and Reamsie, do you remember in the Enterprise finale episode "These are The Voyages" when Troi and Riker are on the (holodeck) bridge of Enterprise NX-01? The characters are "frozen" and the two of them are walking around them. Troi looks at Archer and says "He's cute."
There are possiblities!!!!!

Lots and lots of possibilities in that scene! *image of hands rubbing together enthusiastically*

I'm really looking forward to pictures of those possibilities realised.
