You have to be comfortable using "terminal" in the "Utilities" folder, which is itself in the "Applications" folder. If you are careful, and proofread your typing of the commands at least twice, you should not have any problem. I already checked my computer and found that it does not have any infection. Just go to the website above, and follow the instructions for the two commands you need to run in the "terminal" app.

As the site states, over 600,000 Macs have been infected, and several other sites have stated over half of that number is in the United States.

Please check your Mac ASAP!
