The full-length version of this song goes on like this for 6 hours, with the same lyrics and same kind of sound repeated throughout. They were a group that suffered for their art . . . at least one of the band members went into therapy after recording it.

This is the record on board the Voyager capsule. The record player is solar powered and is next to the record, with picture instructions for how to set the record up and turn it on.

There is no sound in space of course; this was made by converting radio signals picked up by Voyager around Jupiter into sounds
