If you had unlimited funds, would you buy an iPad?

Why or why not? My own answer is "Not yet".

No, because I don't see the need for one, given what I use and how I use it. Also, as you say, it is a first gen. product and there is much improvement coming.

I really don't see the point. It's nothing more than a repackaged laptop with a flashy screen that Apple is marketing as some kind of super-toy.

The appeal of the ipad is to be the first person you know to have a cool toy, which I couldn't care less about. By the time improvements come along, it will be yesterday's news and no one will be interested any more.

im not sure what is on or what a ipad does. but i have played with ipod. and i hate them so touchy and and hard to control. friends little girl had one and touvhing the buttons seemed to do random things and valume control was a pain. lol i wouldnt buy any "I" product because it fustrates me roflol.

No because I agree with both WD and Nucky and my thought processes follow those lines.
Maybe later on when the bugs are worked out because I love gadgets. Just another toy to me. But, that's what I do, I'm an electronics technician/uber-geek )

Me personally no. But I imagine my 2 adult sons are already itching for one.
