This editorial (?) if it can be called that was so ludicris that I had to share. This is the stupidity that comes out of the mouths of some parents. Fortunately no one sided with the author of this insipid article.

If a kid was afraid of adults after watching this, then there is an issue in the kid's environment that contributed to it, and this clip ain't it. The kid probably mistrusted adults before the clip as well. People need to stop blaming music and television and take a look at the big picture in their and their kids' lives.

Kids would find it funny; like saying boo and watching someone jump. This is not the same as someone deliberately doing it to a kid while lulling him asleep; just a funny skit around the boo concept.

i laughed my butt off lol, i think what the point of it was that maybe show kids that something so loud isnt soothing like showing oposites- soft and loud. in which they didnt miss the mark of what they were trying to do. that and alspo maybe they were trying to put something into the show that the adults found amusing and apropriate for the kids. because lets face it...... us adults even if we do or dont like it we watch them with our kids.

OMG
Some people are just so out there.
that was hilarious and kids would think it's hilarious. And I've seen dozens of similar things (and scarier-- if that is what you need to call it) on sesame street.
Ridiculous.
