Printable coupons
With the economy in the slump it's in, do any of you use coupons more than usual or use printable coupons at all?

Re: Printable coupons
I figured the cost of time, paper and ink almost negates the value of the coupond. Still, if it's for an item I use regularly, I will print and use it. That doesn't happen that often any more.
I find it more effective to price compare at my local grocery stores, both regular and discount, taking advantage of sales to stock up. I estimate I save about 60% off the regular off the shelf pricing of a full cost grocery store on an anual basis.

I also do price comparison shopping. It's always seemed like a lot of trouble to cut out coupons.

Indeed. A lot of time for little gain.

Re: Printable coupons
I do use coupons because the grocery store I go to has them right there in front of the product. Of course, I don't always use them (if I don't like the product or the brand, or I can get brand "X" for even cheaper).
I don't get the newspaper anymore so I don't get many coupons....
I will use some printable coupons for luxury items such as Yankee Candle Jar candles. They are expensive and a coupon helps. I know a lot of HSPs don't like scents like that, and I myself am pretty picky, but I do like some, especially some of the fruit (pear) and the cookie ones during the holidays.
