So, it seems that certain regions of the brain shut down when people are lonely, rendering them less reactive to both positive and negetive social situations. It also seems to imply that learning becomes more difficult too.
What it doesn't address is how quickly the brain returns to full use after lonliness is ended.

You know I found this very interesting. I exhibit alot of this negative things. I spend to much time alone or worse with children. The children cause me much stress when I don't get down time. Somedays I miss adult conversation but when I am faced with it, I run
