Our next scheduled chat is on Nov. 15, 2008

Hope to see everyone on sat. Nov. 15th at 5pm gmt-8 (pacific standard). For those on the east coast it's 8pm gmt-5.

A reminder, daylight savings time will have ended, so CA and AZ are no longer in the same time zone.

I also wanted to ask everyone; what do you think of scheduling a chat on sat. the 29th? It is Thanksgiving weekend but I assume, as hsp's, we will be avoiding the holiday crowds.

As always, if anyone wants to schedule other chats, they can do so at any time.

Hmm, I might be able to make the 15th one, hopefully. It's the 16th in NZ, of course, and I'm due to finish work at around 1pm that day, so I should be home just as the chat is starting. At this stage I have no other plans for that day. Whether I remember is a different story, lol.

I should be good for the 15th...Actually I'm not entirely sure. I'm doing extra shifts in the weekend at some point next month. I'll let you know when I get the finalised roster (if I remember.)

Um, no you won't see me there. I thought I could actually make this one, but thanks to one or more of the royal eff ups where I work, I have to work this Saturday for the third straight week! My supervisor did what he could for me, asking me to do a five-hour shift from 4-9 pm, instead of a full shift. And it will be a two-hour commute going to work.

And with a two-hour ride home at a minimum, on Saturday when the buses don't run as often, I doubt the chat will still be going on when I finally get home. Maybe if there is one on the 29th, but I'm not holding my breath about perhaps having to work that Saturday as well.

That's too bad WD. We've missed you at the last few chats. I hope this work schedule thing gets straightened out soon.

Ah, work disrupts our chats, maybe even for me. I helped do an audit on the bus fareboxes Friday night. Started at 4 pm and left at 4 am Saturday. My mind is still rather cob-webby. Don't know if I'm up for the chat or not. Maybe if I take a nap this afternoon. We'll see.

I am not sure if I will participate, it depends if I end up going out or not, at this point I'm kind of on the fence hehe.. I hope I can make it!

It's very embarrassing being an admin and upsetting someone enough to leave the chat in less than 2 minutes like I did.

That's the reason I wasn't there very long, I felt I had to ban myself from the chat for the day for that.
