Vantage Sensitivity
While I was listening on our HSP Dimension Facebook Page to a recording of one of Elain Aron's speeches from a retreat she mentioned a new concept, vantage sensitivity, a term coined by Michael Pluess and Jay Belsky who are doing research on HSP to describe our enhanced benefit to positive environments. So I did some digging and found these two articles:
February 2013: Comfort Zone ONLINE Fulfillment of a Dream--Vantage Sensitivity (link), Elain Aron's newsletter and the actual article: Psychological Bulletin Vantage Sensitivity: Individual Differences in Response to Positive Experiences (link). Note how recent this all is; the term has just recently been coined and may be used instead of HSP. Warning, the 2nd article was written for professional psychological researchers so is long and dry.
