Poseidon & Atlantis Empty Poseidon & Atlantis

Poseidon & Atlantis.

I realized some thing the other day..... Poseidon the Patron Saint of Atlantis. It's curious, the very conditions that wiped out Atlantis were the conditions Poseidon represents .... Atlantis was likely to have been located upon the island of Santorini, where there was a giant volcano explosion . Atlantis was likely destroyed by a colossal explosion and then giant Tsunamis .

It is very likely the volcano and Tsunamis were very active during the entire history of Atlantis , It is no wonder their beliefs reflect their environment.

Also, Santorini is in an ideal location for a wide variety of unique advantages; in addition to the mystical, magical and intellectual conditions.

The mystery is allot deeper and meaningful than most realize. It's proving out to be very real via science and numerous studies... It's legion and myth are very, very real.

I keep coming across threads on Atlantis, portents, guides from there, reincarnation connecting to there, etc. on various spiritual forums. All of this is new to me, a new belief system. Mystery surrounds the story of Atlantis with many theories of it's true origins, all of them backed up by circumstantial evidence. What can you tell me of this?

Poseidon would be a most ironic saint indeed.

Always considered Atlantis to have had the same fate as Pompeii, if it wasn't actually Pompeii it's self... which would kinda make sense since Roman and Greek gods are sometimes mixed and confused in historical texts.

Watching your link now. It's a good historical show on a lost civilization that could be the inspiration of Plato's Atlantis. Alethia says you are an historian. I have a interdisiplinary background that includes much history, anthropology and linguistic history in the mix myself.

This is totally amazing, since just the other day I did a reading for someone which lead me back to days of Atlant and his people. For those that believe in reincarnation, that's exactly where this girl is from some 50.000 years ago.
I basically could see her past life as some kind of Princess of Atlantis. Very interesting actually. so yes, the connection is really there, and very real.
Seems that a lot of people are talking about it too.

Yeah that seemed to be the likely source unless it dated from before pompeii, or a coastal city that was buried in a storm.
OR U CAN GO WITH THE STARGATE VERSION;)

It is known that the Oracles of Delphi were influenced by earthly vapors . These vapors were likely volcanic and it's very likely the Volcano under Atlantis was allot more active and unstable.
