LOL, a vid instructing a board full of introverts accustomed to alone time on how to be alone, funny. Still a thoughtful video.

I find her voice soothing. The video was almost comforting in a way.

When an introvert is lonely, usually it is not because they should learn how to accept being alone because they have grown too dependent on others to be happy, but rather because they have never learned how to feel comfortable socializing outside of limited groups which feel safeā¦ and have likely become too alienated and withdrawn from even those. It is the extraverts' lesson to learn how to cope and value time being alone.
It took me years to truly recognize the latent desire for human intimacy within myself. To say the answer is to continue neglecting that need which has been all but extinguished, and the tendency to be alone has gone to the extreme, then you are telling someone the cure to the sickness is what caused the sickness to begin with. That the need itself not to be alone is the disease, and such a need is to be curbed. But in such a case, to curb would be to sink it back down into the unconscious to allow the sickness to metastasize unchecked.
It is not a healthy mentality to quell a fundamental human need.
