After Jesus defeats Satan, he will suddenly acquire a taste for killing people and kill all the people left on Earth himself?

Born again Christian stuff has gotten so out of hand (maybe it always was-- I mean, the inquisition??)
I honestly think the man Jesus would be appalled at what has become of what he was trying to teach. His teachings in their original pure form are actually so beautiful and enlightened.

Amen to what you posted, Blue. He most definitely would be appalled. He spoke in parables for a reason and frankly, with the mind alone, one cannot grasp the true meaning. Ah, well, live and learn.

One status update by one of my Facebook contacts was dead on: "too much talk about how nutso you have to be to believe in the rapture and not enough about what a horrible person you have to be to gleefully anticipate the torment and death of billions of people who aren't just like you."

This guy just won't give up:

Then again, I didn't expect him to admit he was wrong.

I think I read somewhere that this guy predicted this was going to happen back in 1994. All I know is that there is a scripture in the Bible (I can't recall off the top of my head right now the exact book and verse) that we would NOT know the day or the hour. When it doesn't happen in October this guy will lose what little credibility (if he ever had any) he had and hopefully fade away.
