Only partial, not full, as you still need your electric outlets for many of the appliances or technology items at this site:

Electric Consumption Link

As far as I can tell from this site, my current computer, along with its monitor, keyboard and mouse, consumes approximately $1.00 per month in electric energy. There is also an external hard drive, but I only use it about three to five times per month, and pull the cord from the outlet when it isn't used - as is true of the computer and monitor.

Shucks, no US.

I pull cords when I have to, but to work around that, I have several surge suppressor/strips that I use to manage standby power consumption.

I also have one power strip with a switch, RBM, for the computer and monitor, etc. As to no U.S., you had to have made the same mistake I did when I first tried out the site: the U.S. national average for 2007 is right under "UK (Midlands) Scottish Power". It's a wee bit obscure. Btw, it's interesting to compare the power consumption of ink jet printers with laser printers. Quite a difference!

Ahh, it's not on the first page where I was looking for it, but in the 'select tariff' drop down box. Hehe I'm not used to thinking in terms of 'tariff's'.

Thanks WD7.
