Admins deal more with actually maintaining the forum; including dealing with the technical issues and how the forum functions.

Moderators deal more with interpersonal problems, conflicts, trolls and the like.

Both deal with thread maintainance such as merging or moving a thread, or with violating forum or host rules. In addition, Admins can choose to moderate.
