When you walk with me.

When the footsteps of a friend follow you along,
remember this support and know you belong.
Belong to the world where each of us can unite,
these spaces are the footsteps when one is in plight.
Walk as a shadow so you can give and lend,
lend your support and be a good friend.
When you question your giving,
then life becomes less important,
because a good true friend will always be supportive.
Reach out and give,
open your heart and learn how to truly live.
Because one day as a friend you might be in need,
and those who do love you will remember your deeds

That was nice, Alethia. You know, on the spiritual path that I'm on, I have an upcoming initiation that will bring my awareness to my heart chakra. As a result, love will be quite a part of my life. And I've got to confess, love has not been an easy place for me, ever, or at least in this lifetime. I'm already feeling this happening in advance of the actual initiation, which will happen in June. It sort of feel like a bud, slowly opening. Interesting to observe.

That sounds wonderful Nan....I am interested in this intiation if you would like to share.........I understand about the feelings in advance.......I too feel this with many apsects of my own healing......expansion.

It is simply to open my heart chakra so that I may then bring my attention effortlessly to it. My next chakra to achieve is my throat. So actually it is pretty much constant working to bring it up to my 3rd eye and then beyond. What I'm working on is self-realization. Self being the soul. Which is most assuredly not my mind. So stilling my mind to allow my soul to emerge and become aware. It's quite a process, one which I may not complete in this lifetime. But I've made great strides.
