The Wreck of the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald

Here we're going to create a song sung to the tune of "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" by Gordon Lightfoot. Keep adding to it so that it's even more ridiculously long than the original! 
Make up a verse following the format of the song (4 lines of approximately 11-10-11-10 syllables, give or take one or two for each line)

The legend lives on from the wonky elders on down
Of the not-so-big forum Dimension
As the HSP forums go it is wilder than most
With wonkiness captains well-seasoned
