Northwest/Delta = FAIL

My sister is flying into New Orleans for Mardi Gras. She stood in line for four hours at Detroit Metro trying to check her bag. She missed her flight. The next two flights were overbooked by 50! When we called Delta, all we got was a message saying they're not answering the phone. Then we emailed them, and we got this:

Thanks for the e-mail. We wish we could answer your question immediately but we are running behind. You should expect a response within 2-3 days. We apologize for the delay.

So avoid, avoid, avoid Northwest/Delta at all costs. They're grossly incompetent, and they couldn't care less about it.

I don't blame you for being outraged. Even in a time where airlines treat people horribly, this is way over the top.
