Yes, it certainly is. Much better to get it from plastic than to use fracking.

Or all the drilling things and flaring.
If nothing else cleaning up or recycling trash island has got to be pretty profitable business wise... it's free resources nobody wants and everybody will love you for it.

Indeed, it's win win win on all fronts. If his methods work, I'm betting oil companies will either try to buy him out, or take a patent out on it if it proves to be too profitable. I just hope he did get a patent and that he stands by his ideals.

Wouldn't that be hilarious if energy sustainability was mostly solved by recycling plastic trash...
Doubt oil guys will be that happy.

Reminds me of the guys using polio virus to cure cancer now.
